EUR-Lex is the European Union’s web site providing access to EU law. It incorporates the EU’s CELEX database and includes legislation in force, case law 1954 onwards, the Official Journal 1952 onwards, the treaties setting up the European Communities and European Union, and community preparatory acts. The “National law and case law” section allows access to national measures implementing EU legislation, and also other legislation and case law from the individual jurisdictions. The site, which is maintained by the Publications Office of the EU, is updated daily.
