The Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA) is a non-departmental public body, funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, which is responsible for safety and security at sports grounds in the UK. It superseded the Football Licensing Authority in 2011, with an expanded role in relation to safety in other sports. Its web site includes guidance for local authorities and others. Under Quick Links and then Library, there are historic circulars, a CCTV code of practice and other guidance documents.
