The Constitution Unit, part of the Department of Political Science at University College London, has been active in the area of freedom of information (FOI) and data protection (DP) since 1995, reviewing information policy decisions, conducting research, providing training and consultancy, and assisting both central government departments and local authorities. This FOI section of the site’s Research Archive includes information about research projects on a number of FOI topics, including local government, parliament and universities, and information about FOI regimes around the world.
