The Venice Commission is an advisory body of the Council of Europe, composed of independent experts in the field of constitutional law. Its official name is the European Commission for Democracy through Law. Content on its web site includes a Bulletin on Constitutional Case-Law, published three times a year and containing summaries of important decisions 2004 onwards, and the CODICES database, which contains not only summaries as published in the Bulletin but also some 5,000 texts of decisions in full, constitutions, and descriptions of many courts and the laws governing them.
