BIALL was formed in 1969 and is the only professional body to represent and serve information professionals working with legal information in the UK and Ireland. It organises training events and conferences and has an active publishing programme. Its web site contains news of interest to the profession, diaries of events internal and external, the BIALL Blog (May 2007 onwards), and links arranged by subject. The BIALL How Do I? wiki was launched in June 2009. This is a wiki created by the BIALL PR Committee with the aim of helping users with legal information enquiries.
