The Academy of Experts is a professional body for expert witnesses in the UK and worldwide. The “Useful Cases” section under “Resources” on its web site contains notes on selected UK and US cases of relevance to experts and mediators. Access to the searchable online register is free, though registration is required.
The EWI is an independent non-profitmaking body which services, supports, trains and educates experts. Documents within the “Law and You” section of its web site include a code of practice and a model form of experts report.

Sweet & Maxwell’s Legal Hub site provides free online access to the current editions of its publications The Bar Directory, Expert Witness Directory and In-house Lawyer Directory. The site also includes a collection of articles: for full access to these registration is required.
The Society is an independent non-profitmaking body, run by expert witnesses for expert witnesses. Besides contact details, information on membership and news stories, there is a database of expert witnesses, but inclusion is only at the request of a member so it is not comprehensive.
