This collection of Court of Appeal decisions dating from 1809 and from 1872 to 2010 inclusive is available on the CommonLII web site and uses data provided by LawNet, a Sri Lanka Government project. Cases are as reported in the Ceylon New Law Reports (1809-1978) and the Sri Lanka Law Reports (1978-2010).

The web site of Sri Lanka’s official printer and publisher contains Acts, 1980 onwards, Bills, 2003 onwards and the official Gazette 2004 onwards. Also available are forms, arranged by relevant government department. These do not include forms for use in litigation. Not all documents are available in English, particularly in the earlier years.

This collection of legal materials is provided by the Sri Lanka Ministry of Justice and Law Reforms. Publications available at present are Constitution (and amendments), Consolidated Statutes 1956 (official), Consolidated Statutes 1981 (unofficial), Statutes 1956 to 2006 (by date, official), annual Statutes 2007 onwards, Provincial Council Statutes, reported cases as contained in the Ceylon New Law Reports, 1895-1978 and the Sri Lanka Law Reports, 1978-2005, Conventions and legal articles.

This guide, on the GlobaLex web site, covers the legal and colonial history of Sri Lanka, the court system, case law and legislation. This revised edition by Thamil Venthan Ananthavinayagan is dated October 2016. The original version, written by Aquinas V. Tambimuttu and dated January 2009, is also available.

This collection of Supreme Court decisions dating from 1878 and from 1895 to 2012 is available on the CommonLII web site and uses data provided by LawNet, a Sri Lanka Government project. Case reports are taken from the Ceylon New Law Reports, the later Sri Lanka Law Reports. New decisions from 2009 onwards are based on data obtained directly from the Supreme Court website.
