Cases are as reported in the Ceylon New Law Reports (1809-1978) and the Sri Lanka Law Reports (1978-2010).
The web site of Sri Lanka’s official printer and publisher contains Acts, 1980 onwards, Bills, 1988 onwards and the official Gazette 2004 onwards. Also available are forms, arranged by relevant government department. These do not include forms for use in litigation. Not all documents are available in English, particularly in the earlier years.

Case reports are taken from the Ceylon New Law Reports, the later Sri Lanka Law Reports. New decisions from 2009 onwards are based on data obtained directly from the Supreme Court website.
