Hague Conference on Private International Law
The Hague Conference was first convened in 1893 and became a permanent inter-governmental organisation in 1955. Its site has the full text of the conventions for which the Conference is responsible, together with status information and a list of all member states. Conventions include the Hague Convention on Service Abroad and many others which are concerned with commercial law, international civil procedure, and protection of the family and children.

Health & Care Professions Council
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) currently regulates members of sixteen professions in the UK, including chiropodists, dietitians, paramedics, physiotherapists, radiographers, social workers in England, and practitioner psychologists. It was originally established under the Health Professions Order 2001 as the Health Professions Council, changing its name on 1 August 2012 when responsibility for social workers in England was transferred from the defunct General Social Care Council. The Legislation section (under About Us) has relevant Orders and Rules either as originally made or in unofficial consolidated versions. Other content includes guidance, standards, consultations and annual reports. The Complaints section has information on the complaint procedure and details of recent fitness to practise hearings. Health and Safety Authority
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is the state sponsored body in Ireland with responsibility for securing safety, health and welfare at work. Its site includes a Legislation section, which lists Irish Health and Safety Acts, Orders and Regulations (with some links to full text). Amendments to legislation are listed. It also features (under the Inspections tab) details of prosecutions from 2005-2010. Other information includes codes of practice, statistics, forms, annual reports and press releases. Free publications can be downloaded and there is an online ordering facility for priced publications.

Health and Safety Executive
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is a non-departmental public body responsible for the encouragement, regulation and enforcement of workplace health, safety and welfare in England, Wales and Scotland. The site's Legislation section, found on the "About HSE" tab under "HSE's work", includes lists of relevant Acts and Statutory Instruments, with links where possible to Legislation.gov.uk texts, together with a link to the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 as amended. The Enforcement section, also under "HSE's work", has searchable databases of enforcement notices issued by HSE and of successful convictions obtained from HSE prosecutions. Hillsborough Independent Panel
The Hillsborough Independent Panel was appointed by the government in January 2010 to oversee full public disclosure of relevant government and local information relating to the Hillsborugh Disaster of 15 April 1989, and to publish a report. Ninety-six people died and many hundreds were injured in the disaster, which occurred during a football match at Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield. The Panel's report, published 12 September 2012, is available here on its official web site, together with all of the disclosed material.

This database, on the Hong Kong University Library site, gives access to the seven consolidations of the Laws of Hong Kong published between 1890 and 1964, the last being updated to 1989. The consolidations may be searched individually or collectively.

HKLII
The web site of the Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) contains full text judgments of the Court of Final Appeal, 1997 onwards, Court of Appeal, 1946 onwards (early years incomplete), Court of First Instance, 1946 onwards, District Court, 1946 onwards, Family Court, 1973 onwards and Lands Tribunal, 1981 onwards. The legislation section has all current Ordinances and Regulations, and other resources include a database of Practice Directions.

HM Courts & Tribunals Service
Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of the criminal, civil and family courts and tribunals in England and Wales and for non-devolved tribunals in Scotland and Northern Ireland. It was created on 1 April 2011, bringing together Her Majesty's Courts Service and the Tribunals Service to form a single integrated agency of the Ministry of Justice. This section of the Justice portal site has basic information on the courts and tribunals administered by HMCTS, with links to detailed information in other areas of the site.

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is a non-ministerial department whose main responsibility is the collection of taxes. It was created by the merger on 18 April 2005 of the former Inland Revenue and HM Customs & Excise. This section of the GOV.UK web site provides access to information on HMRC's activities, policies, publications and announcements, and to information more widely across the whole government. Select "HMRC advice and services" to access material arranged for “individuals and employees”, “employers” and “businesses and corporations”. Each of these three sections includes relevant forms, guidance, manuals, links to legislation and other documentation.

The responsibilities of the Home Office include borders and immigration; drugs policy; crime and policing; counter-terrorism; national security, and equality, rights and citizenship. The Home Office section of the GOV.UK web site provides information on its activities, policies, announcements, consultations, publications and statistics. Home Office Circulars are available 2003 onwards: when conducting a publications search for these note that they are classified as the publication type "correspondence". The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), a non-departmental public body, is the national housing and regeneration agency for England. It took over responsibility for the regulation of social housing providers in England from the Tenant Services Authority on 1 April 2012. Honour Crimes Project
The 'Honour Crimes' Project is jointly co-ordinated by CIMEL (Centre of Islamic and Middle Eastern Law, at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London) and INTERIGHTS (International Centre for the Legal Protection of Human Rights). It aims to co-ordinate an international approach to fighting 'honour crimes'. The site includes extensive links arranged either alphabetically for international organisations or by country for national organisations. Documentation in the Materials and Resources section also includes materials relating to 'crimes of honour' that were not produced by the CIMEL/INTERIGHTS Project. Houses of the Oireachtas
The Oireachtas is the national parliament of the Republic of Ireland, consisting of the President of Ireland and the two houses, the Dáil Éireann (House of Representatives) and the Seanad Éireann (Senate). Publications on the site include Dáil Debates 1919 onwards, Seanad Debates 1922 onwards, selected Committee Debates 1924 onwards, Bills (as published at each stage) and Explanatory Memoranda 1997 onwards, and Acts of the Oireachtas (in both Irish and English) 1922 onwards.

Housing Corporation
Legacy site of the national government agency which formerly funded new affordable housing and regulated housing associations in England. Its regulatory role was taken over on 1 December 2008 by the newly created Tenant Services Authority (which was in turn replaced in 2012 by the Homes and Communities Agency). This site is now accessible via the National Archives.

The Housing Ombudsman Service (HOS), formerly known as the Independent Housing Ombudsman, deals with complaints against landlords and agents, and other housing disputes. HUDOC
HUDOC is the official database of the case law of the European Convention on Human Rights. Content includes judgments, screening panel decisions and admissibility decisions of the European Court of Human Rights 1959 to date; public reports and admissibility decisions of the defunct European Commission on Human Rights complete from 1986 to 1999, with some earlier decisions; and resolutions of the Committee of Ministers 1959 to 2004. Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority
The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) was created in 1991, under the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990, to regulate safe and appropriate practice in fertility treatment and human embryo research. The Commission was established by the Human Rights Commission Act 1977. It is empowered under the Human Rights Act 1993 to protect human rights in general in accordance with UN covenants and conventions. The Publications section of its web site contains a large collection of downloads, including legislation relating to human rights and case notes from 1999 onwards.

Human Rights Education Associates is an international non-governmental organisation which supports human rights learning and training. In the “Resource Centre” there is a library of documents, databases including a directory of organisations involved in human rights education, and an extensive links section. Human Rights Impact Research: A Preliminary Practice-Oriented Bibliography
Created by the Institute for the Study of Human Rights (ISHR) at Columbia University, this annotated bibliography aims to map the study of human rights impact. The bibliography is divided into two sections. The first, 'Methods and Tools Relating to Human Rights Impact', is subdivided into subject areas including: Civil and Political, Economics, Social and Cultural, Health, Business, Children's Rights, and Sex and Gender. The second section, 'Reports and Papers Relating to Human Rights Impact', subdivides resources into the topics: Development, Humanitarian, and Peace and Conflict.

Human Rights Watch is an independent non-governmental organisation based in New York and concerned with defending human rights worldwide. The site contains news, commentaries and reports on human rights issues, arranged by topic and region. Human Tissue Authority
The Human Tissue Authority (HTA) was set up under the Human Tissue Act 2004 to regulate the removal, storage, use and disposal of human bodies, organs and tissue from the living and deceased. Site content includes a section devoted to transplantation matters, licensing guidelines, codes of practice, details of current and closed consultations, media releases and news stories. Publications include annual reports, leaflets, and a regular e-newsletter. There are links to the Human Tissue Act 2004 and regulations made under it, and to the Human Tissue (Scotland) Act 2006.

Hutton Inquiry
Lord Hutton was appointed by the government to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Dr David Kelly in July 2003.
